| so. the first week of school was very exciting. unfortunately the second week has nearly escaped me. the first day was stolen by a national holiday. the second day was stolen by a stomach virus. the good news is that the third day i may be going to school because after hanging out in the hospital most of yesterday i'm actually starting to sort of feel alive again. wow! (*me knocking on wood*) |

an artist created a floating fragmented black cube from the remnants of an arson fire to a southern black baptist church. (de young museum)
the palace of fine arts was another place i went is a greek/roman architectural area with many columns and arches. very majestic. very tall. very expensive. i think in the 70's some guy invested 4 million dollars to restore the PFA and make it the fixed up area it is today. mainly its just grass and these huge beams to stare and with a bit of a lake in the area too. sort of makes you wish they had built a theater where they could host plays or concerts. i guess thats not such a good idea for SF though because of all the rain that goes on here.
there would be pictures but i guess that i've been uploading too many pictures and have reached my limit. : ( sadness. o well. maybe you can google, "san francisco palace of fine arts" to see what I mean.

so after popular demand i posted a picture of my drapes.
thank you gma pjama for helping me make em and mar for helping me pick the material.
i accidently put one upside down and haven't changed it around. looks funny with one upside down. hope you can't tell from the picture.
and here are my little plantys. there are only a couple but they are very friendly. i water them every day. except for the cactus succulent thing (not pictured) because i think they get sick if they have too much water.
went and got my ID card from SFSU today so now i feel officially studious.
also went to a couple of restaurants close to home looking for a job. no immediate hires. o well.
tommorrow i'm going to the SFMOMA yay! with my ID card I get to take advantage of the student discount there.
